"The all-star cast directed by Joe Wright breathes fresh life into an old corpse." - Stan Kyle, Omaha World-Herald

"The building blocks of Agatha Christie's famous mystery are kept intact, but this new version's drab atmosphere and serious tone feel disconnected from the playfulness of the book." - Justin Rodriguez, Detroit Free Press

"Even though it was written in 1939, as a serialized newspaper story, it feels modern in its moral complexities. Fans of British mysteries won't want to miss this well-cast and well-executed film." - Matt Carson, Arizona Republic
