In Development


The Fountainhead: Michael Stuhlbarg (Jonestown, A Serious Man) has joined Zack Snyder's adaptation of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. He will play Ellsworth Toohey, an architecture critic who crusades against Ryan Gosling's designs in the media.

Flicker: Rounding out the cast of Anton Corbijn's suspense thriller will be Imogen Poots (Birth of Frankenstein, Green Room), Ty Burrell ("Modern Family", Muppets Most Wanted) and Val Kilmer (MacGruber, Song to Song). Poots will play an employee of Brady Corbet's, Burrell will play a film collector, and Val Kilmer will play an LAPD homicide detective.

Without Remorse: William Fichtner (Every Secret Thing, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Dennis Quaid ("The Art of More", A Dog's Purpose) have signed on to Peter Berg's Tom Hardy-led Tom Clancy adaptation. Fichtner will play an Air Force colonel captured in Afghanistan, while Quaid will play Admiral Maxwell, who recruits Hardy's John Clark for his operation.

The Banded Ants: The voice cast of Guillermo del Toro's first animated film continues to fill out its cast with the additions of Eva Green ("Penny Dreadful", Sin City: Rise of an Empire) and del Toro favorite Doug Jones (The Shape of Water, Hellboy II: The Golden Army). Green will voice the queen of the ant colony, while Jones will provide the voice of Zac Efron's mentor.

The Hunt: Kenneth Lonergan and Ann Morrow's remake of The Hunt has added two more actors. Noomi Rapace (What Happened to Monday, Child 44) will play Mark Ruffalo's love interest and Lucas Hedges (Kill the Messenger, Manchester by the Sea) will act for Lonergan again, this time playing Ruffalo's son.

Bunny Lake is Missing:
Mark Pellington (The Last Word, I Melt with You) has been hired to direct Natalie Portman in the thriller Bunny Lake is Missing.
